1. What proposals do you have to increase employment opportunities in Massachusetts?

Answer from Lawrence P. Novak:
Only way to increase employment opportunities in Massachusetts is by setting up a fund to help start up businesses and by providing the initial funding to new companies willing to locate in Massachusetts.

2. How will you rectify problems with aging Massachusetts infrastructure, especially bridges and tunnels?

Answer from Lawrence P. Novak:
Commonwealth will have to issue bonds for long term capital improvements in the State. The infrastructure must be safe for usage.

3. Governor Patrick has proposed a wide-ranging plan to transform education in the Commonwealth. What do you see as the top priorities in his plan and what funding mechanism do you feel will enable their successful implementation?

Answer from Lawrence P. Novak:
I don't agree with the governor's plan for education. During this economic crisis that the country is facing we can ill-afford to take on new debt. I do not think it is advisable to incur any new expenditures.
