For eight years as your councilmember, twice as mayor, Janet has worked for a better Cotati. She is proud of what she's accomplished.

Janet led the effort to secure over $3M in Open Space District funds to acquire the Veronda-Falletti ranch across from City Hall, preserving a historic community treasure from development forever and creating a new park of over 4 acres.

Janet and the City Council have made economic decisions that have significantly helped our city finances. Cotati is not cutting vital services or raising taxes - in stark contrast to other cities in this economic downturn.

The City launched and expanded our recreation program, established popular new community buildings and created new parks and trails.

When re-elected Janet will continue this work to improve our quality of life and protect vital community services. She is endorsed by Sonoma County Conservation Action, Sonoma County Alliance, Sonoma County Democratic Party, Coalition for a Better Sonoma County, Women's Political Caucus of Sonoma County, our current mayor, six former mayors, eight citizens of the year and scores of Cotati citizens and community leaders.
