I was born August 21, 1949, San Francisco CA Moved to Santa Rosa with my parents and younger sister 1952. Grammar School: St. Eugene's High School: graduated Ursuline High School, salutatorian, 1967 Attended Chico State University, graduating in 1971 with a BA in Microbiology, graduated cum laude

Worked in hospitals as an laboratory technologist and pursued a career as an artist in Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, and New York City until 1985. Returned to Santa Rosa to raise my son, Quin. I bought a home in the Burbank Gardens neighborhood in 1986. Have worked from home as a medical transcriptionist since 1991.

Involved in Burbank Gardens neighborhood watch and gaining recognition as a historic neighborhood. This led to more concerns about the lack of available neighborhood services, which led to my running for a neighborhood board position. I was elected to the Burbank Gardens Neighborhood Association board in 2005 and re-elected in 2007.

Help found Santa Rosa Neighborhood Alliance in 2006. Graduated Leadership Institute summer 2007. Ran for City Council appointment in summer 2007.
