QUALIFIED TO REPRESENT
In 1983, I was elected to the Stockton City Council. I am president of the South Stockton Merchants Association.

I graduated from Washington State University earning a B.A Degree in English and Mathematics with studies in Psychology, and a scholarship in Chemistry. I worked in tool making for Boeing Company as a Template layout Technician. I was trained in various phases of tool and die construction, basic and advanced blueprint reading, and fiberglass construction.

From 1970-84 I organized twenty-nine Community Gardens that fed 990 families, and as the Community Garden Coordinator at University of California Cooperative Extension, wrote a $18,000,000 grant that funded the community garden programs of the 18 largest cities nationwide. I organized a neighborhood credit union in Conway Homes area and helped obtain sidewalks, sewer service, curbs and gutters for South Stockton.

Having been a community volunteer, and an employer, I have represented this community as a real estate agent and notary public, a rental equipment dealer with UHaul Company, a General building and an Electrical Contractor; a certified residential journeyman electrician, certified arborist, and retail garden nursery owner . #773245 I speak both Spanish and English, I've taught electricity, speech and nutrition as staff personnel in the 4-H program.
