Hi! I'm James Hiramoto My wife, Rebecca, and I have been married for almost 4 years and are the parents of a set of amazing twins Grace and William (3). Our children look forward to the day they will be allowed to start kindergarten at Bethany. My wife and I have lived all over the Bay Area individually and together for over 25 years, and we moved to Mountain House in November of 2006. Free time is never wasted in our home. We are either planning to do an event (the planning for the next annual Tour De Farce based loosely off of the Amazing Race); hosting family and friends from far away places; spending it visiting family and friends in the Greater Bay Area; enjoying life in Mountain House, playing in the parks or swimming in our pool usually recovering from traveling all over the US and abroad (the twins have their own frequent flyer programs for two different airlines). Our desire is to have our children experience the culture, people and places that they will learn about in books, news and school and interact with when they are older. Keeping our twins healthy and happy is always on our minds. Healthy, isn't always easy, as 3 year olds rarely wash their hands (even after countless reminders), but they are pretty hardy kids. Happy is usually a breeze, unless someone doesn't get enough sleep. Some widely & little known things about me: I was the Red Robin Mascot in the late 80's in the Greater Bay Area. I am a published poet & photographer. I play several musical instruments (I didn't say well). I am pretty good around the kitchen. I am pretty good with most pop culture trivia.
