We cannot have strong communities without strong schools. Excellence in public education is a win-win-win situation, benefiting students, families and the community. The keys to good schools are excellent teaching and parent involvement. The VUSD Board of Trustees must work as a team to advance the quality of education for all childen in our schools. I strive as a Board member to unify teachers, administrators, parents, and community members in seeking one goal: the highest level of learning and personal development for all our students.
