Political Philosophy for Rich Larsen
Candidate for |

|
My wife and I have lived in Los Altos Hills for 20 years and raised two sons. I am committed to advocating for and preserving the quality of life that we all love in Los Altos Hills, which includes upholding the General Plan and ensuring that our town remains a leader on environmental initiatives. My priorities are: 1) Emergency Preparedness - to respond effectively to disasters, wildfires or earthquakes; 2) Conservation - expand the use of incentives and education for solar and water conservation; 3) Fiscal Prudence: ensure that we maintain prudent planning and use of our funding sources. Based on my experience as the Chairman of the West Loyola Sewer District and the Chairman of the West Loyola Annexation Committee for eight years, I have extensive experience organizing our community. I worked closely with Los Altos Hills City Council & Staff and helped reach an agreement for Conveyance with Los Altos and won incremental Capacity Rights from the Palo Alto Waste Treatment Plant. As an advocate of Regional issues, I have been a member of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and Director of a charitable institution. I'd be honored to have your vote! |
