My family moved to Nuevo 21 years ago to build a quiet, comfortable life together. Our main goal in moving here was to give our daughters every opportunity to grow and succeed in an open and safe environment. I am proud to say that Nuevo exceeded our goals. I have always been an active part of this community and worked to give all our children the opportunities that they need and deserve. I have raised my children here and I am now a grandmother helping to raise yet another generation. I feel that with my past experience, commitment and my deep roots in this community, I can help to keep the Nuview School District the solid foundation that our children need to be successful people.

Being an active part of this wonderful community and our children is very important to me. In my 21 years as a member of this community I have done the following.

• So Cal Fair "Farmer's Daughter" Chaperone 2001-2006
• NECHS Parent Advisory Counsel Member
• NUSD School Trustee
• Lions Club Member and Board member
• NECHS Teacher

• Founder of the Nuevo Community Youth Theater Program
• And "Mom" to 24 exchange students from around the world.
