Candidate for
Board Member; Val Verde Unified School District

I love California. I was born and raised in Southern California. I spent most of my childhood in Los Angeles County until I moved to Riverside County several years ago.

I attended California State University Long Beach from 2000-2003. I majored in Political Science, and decided to attend Law School by the end of 2003. From 2004-2007 I attended Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, Orange County.

But I had to work to support my studies by then so I applied and obtained a substitute teaching position in Val Verde USD in 2004. I lived and worked in the district while commutting, like most residents of Riverside County, to Orange County at night. During the last four years I have enjoyed the privilege of working as a substitute teacher for the parents and students of Val Verde USD. It is my wish to continue serving the community where I live and work, but now as an elected official. Thank you.
