Steve and his wife Jennifer have been married for 12 years. They have lived in El Dorado Hills for almost 7 years and enjoy the community. They have two children; Benjamin who is 10 and is a 5th grader at Lake Forest Elementary, and Megan who is 4 and will start kindergarten at Lake Forest next year.

Steve earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Economics from UC Davis in 1990, and earned his Juris Doctor degree from UC Davis in 1993. Steve was admitted to the California State Bar in 1993 and to the United States Supreme Court Bar in 1997.

Steve currently owns and operates Election Solution Providers which is a non-partisan company that assists state and local governments in complying with election laws and to ensure that our election processes are safe and accurate. Prior to running his own business, Steve served in both the legislative and executive branches of California state government. He has served as Counsel to the Senate Republican Leader in the California Senate, and as Senior Election Counsel to the California Secretary of State.
