I believe that the West Contra Costa Unified School District deserves someone with a clear vision and the courage to be held accountable for student achievement.

My goals for improving student achievement are to:

-Reduce the drop-out rate.

-Close the achievement gap.

-Increase student literacy.

-Restore civility and accountability to the dealings of the school board.

-Increase college-going rates.

I am committed to making sure every child has the same opportunity to achieve success.
