I have been a Discovery Bay resident for eleven years. I am married with 2 adult daughters and 2 grandsons. My hobby is bass fishing. I am semi retired, so I am able to donate substantial time to the town's business. I worked as a service manager in the semi-conductor industry for 20 years. I currently work part time as an investigator with my wife who is a lawyer dedicated to helping abused and neglected children and their families.

I am currently a trustee for Reclamation District 800 which maintains the levees of Discovery Bay and the surrounding area. I am a member of the Sheriff's Municipal Advisory Committee which communicates our town's needs directly to the Sheriff. I am a member of the Discovery Bay Lions Club and the Chamber of Commerce.

I was a previous board member for 6 years. Since leaving the board, I continue to attend every board meeting because I care about Discovery Bay. I understand the dynamics and the opportunities facing the town. In order to change the composition of your board, and effectuate needed change, you must elect 2 new members to the board.

During my term on the board, our town built two water treatment plants and a waste treatment plant. We added a state of the art slug drying treatment facility. I negotiated with local developers with a goal of building a community center. I continue to sit on the community center committee.

I love Discovery Bay! I want to maintain our community's lifestyle. The composition of our board must change in order to manage growth, landscaping, and policing of our town. This means you must elect 2 new members. I am asking that you cast your votes for Mark Simon and me, Ray Tetreault.
