I have been a Bay Area resident for most of my life, and currently live here in Discovery Bay in the Lakes Community. When my husband and I first came to Discovery Bay, we knew we had found our home.

Discovery Bay was exactly what we were seeking - a safe, family neighborhood with a small-town atmosphere where we could raise our two children. But we also recognize that continuous improvements are needed to truly realize the potential of our community.

I will work to:

• Improve the partnership between the CSD and the School District to ensure the best possible facilities are brought forward for our children;
• Construct the proposed Community Center and establish artistic, cultural and recreation programs in Discovery Bay;
• Develop Bixler Business Park and improve existing retail centers, attracting employment opportunities and homeowners while also returning tax dollars to our community;
• Improve safety in our community by increasing police patrols and bolstering crime prevention programs;
• Continue enhancements to Vasco Road and Highway 4, ensuring working parents get home safely to their families;
• Protect Delta waterways and beautify parks & open space;
• Require developers to pay their fair share;
• Increase accountability to the community;
• Improve communication with constituents via interactive and print media to ensure transparency between the CSD and those it represents;
• Achieve an enhanced quality of life for all Discovery Bay residents
