1. As a member of the Governor's Council, what contributions will you make to the Commonwealth's government?

Answer from Robert L. "Bob" Toomey, Jr.:
As a retired Boston Police Officer I have a unique perspective of how the judiciary operates. Based on my experiences as an advocate for the victims of crimes, I feel I shall attempt to appoint judges who can balance the rights of the defendants but also the rights of the victims in society. Too often I find a very small minority of our judges bend over backwards to guarantee the rights of the accused over the rights of our law abiding citizens.
