Political Philosophy for Linda Kaye Jones
Candidate for |
||||
|
As an experienced community advocate and education leader, I will represent the people of the 36th District on the issues that matter to families:
Having worked on the frontlines as a provider of vital services, first as a vocational nurse for 15 years and now as a special education teacher for 11 years, I know firsthand how important state funding is to local advancement. And since there's always more to do, I've dedicated myself to giving back to my community for the past 15 years, serving on school boards, labor coalitions and housing committees at both the local and state level. This outreach has given me a broad-based understanding of what the people of the 36th District expect and deserve from their assembly representative.
I will go to the State Assembly intent on building consensus across party lines and getting results, doing more with less, and never forgetting who sent me. As a mother, grandmother, teacher and nurse, I believe that my every action must make a positive difference in people's lives. That's why I'm asking you to send me to Sacramento.
Together we can make things happen. |
