Supervisor; County of San Diego; Supervisorial District 1

The County of San Diego is widely recognized as one of the best run governments in America. We demand that outcome and results, not process and paperwork, be our primary focus. Our fiscal discipline has enabled us to decrease bureaucracy, while increasing services to the public.

My priorities for the next four years include insuring the well-being of children and families, expanding health services to the public, protecting and enhancing the environment and guaranteeing the safety of our neighborhoods. I will also lead an effort with local cities to boost trade and commerce in our flourishing border region.

It has been my privilege to lead a County government that has earned the respect and support of its residents. It would be my great honor to continue working on behalf to preserve what we have achieved, and to help the County of San Diego serve you even better in the years to come.
