Green political commentary.-Candidate for Pacifica's foundation radio station KPFK Listener-Sponsor Board. -Participant, May 2006 Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley Immigration Rallies. -Participant, local demonstrations against US war in Iraq and for impeachment of the Bush regime. -Co-organizer, Media event to increase public awareness of the detrimental community impact of long-vacant, blighted, building code-compromised 13 story Panorama Towers. -Initiator, Panorama City Neighborhood Council formation. -Member, Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley Livable Communities Council. Vote for Lindblad for Green Party Los Angeles County Council. Politics are too often dominated by greed, corporatism, militarism and the narrow two-party duopoly. This has led humanity to ecological collapse and social and economic inequity. I will bring the ethical and moral imperatives of the Greens' Ten Key Values to the County Council (Ecological Wisdom, Social Justice, Grassroots Democracy, Nonviolence, Decentralization, Community-Based Economics, Feminism, Respect for Diversity, Personal and Global Responsibility, and Future Focus/Sustainability). |
