A member of the Sierra Club, Tim will preserve our open spaces
The air we breathe, the water we drink, and the earth we live on must be preserved. Since it was first mandated by the State in the 1990's, Torrance has never achieved our required 50% reduction of the solid waste stream. Tim supports expanding Torrance's recycling program to include multi-unit residences and businesses. As a participant in the Cool Cities program, we must move to achieve our goals and reduce our environmental impact. One of the many ways to do this includes employing a financing program to eliminate the up front cost of residential solar electric panels for our residents. Finally, Tim will work to increase the oversight of polluters and hold them accountable.
