As a Veteran, Tim understand the need to protect and serve the reisdents of Torrance
Public safety is priority number one. As our population grows and ages, our city services need to be able to keep up with resident needs. For example, in the last 20 years, the Torrance Fire Department has responded to 68% more calls while maintaining the same level of staff. Also, Tim does not expect crime to get any better as the state of our economy worsens. For these reasons, Tim supports the acquisition of needed equipment and personnel positions, as well as the addition of two K-9 units for the Police Department.
