Answer from Harvey A. Silberman: I have been on the bench since 2004, first presiding over a courtroom hearing domestic violence matters and now a family law trial court. I would like to expand my work to include county and statewide policy and administrative issues especially those concerning children. Answer from Serena Raquel Murillo: To join the ranks of those men and women who uphold our system of laws, which have enabled me, a first generation American, to succeed through hard work, honesty, integrity and a commitment to the public I serve.
Answer from Harvey A. Silberman: Integrity, experience and compassion. Appointed as Commissioner in 2004, my work as a child advocate, years of experience as a public interest lawyer serving the sick and indigent of our community. Answer from Serena Raquel Murillo: 1. Experience protecting the public: As a prosecutor I am an expert in criminal laws and sentencing.
