My name is Joe Veranese and I am running for our State Senate. My wife Frankie (Tavalsky), daughters Catherine (4) and Elizabeth (1 Month)live in Upper Yoder Township. I am a 1992 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania where I earned a B.S. in Accounting and a minor in Music Education.

I have worked as the Operations Manager for a Johnstown based company for the past 15 years. During that time I have served on several advisory councils for local businesses and hospitals.

Having also served as an Upper Yoder Township Supervisor, Treasurer, Police Commissioner and Zoning Hearing Board Member has given me a solid understanding of the needs in our community.
