While renowned for its exemplary public services, Anderson has one of the lowest effective residential property tax rates of any community in Hamilton County not having a payroll tax.
Anderson Township provides exemplary services while having one of the lowest effective residential property tax rates any community in Hamilton County without a payroll tax.

Anderson receives only $.13 from each property tax dollar to fund all of its highly-rated services. We have not had a levy on the ballot since the year 2000 and have put conservative budgets in place to forestall the need for one for perhaps another three years or more.
