1. What are your qualifications for office? (50 word limit)
Served as Municipal Court Judge since December 2005, 15 years experienced trial attorney representing clients in Municipal, State, and Federal Courts. Admitted to practice law U.S. Supreme Court, Ohio Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals, sixth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)
Increase Alternatives to Incarceration such as allowing treatment for substance and diversion program in addition to or in lieu of jail. Impose jail time where warranted particularly with repeat offenders. Treat all persons fairly, equally, and with dignity and respect.3. What specific changes would you like to see in the administration of justice in Hamilton County? (150 word limit)
Eliminate all forms of discrimination. Fully uphold the Constitution which mandates due process and equal treatment of all persons. Treat all individuals with respect and dignity. Adhere to presumption of innocence until proven guilty. Reduce unnecessary delays and continuances by demanding professionalism, advance preparation, and courtesy between all litigants. Create more user friendly court processes by reducing and streamlining court filings and paperwork.
