1. What are your qualifications for office? (50 word limit)
I have been our Mayor since 1/14/2004 and served in City Council for four years prior to that. I own and operate our family run remodeling business in Reading (est. 1974) and my family and myself are actively involved in every aspect of our city.2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)
We are presently working with developers and businesses on four different areas of our city on Development / Redevelopment projects. We have purchased over 16 acres of prime commercial development land that are vital to our future and we are working diligently to bring the possible businesses to reading. We are a safe community and are constantly working to make sure we stay that way. We are as efficient in our spend as we can be.3. State three actions that you recommend to promote regional cooperation, and explain how you would implement each action? (150 word limit)
We already meet with & cooperate with all of our surrounding communities. We are still working on stormwater issues, County and transportation issues and issues with MSD. I have met with & will continue to meet with reps from ORI, the Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission, the 1st Suburbs Consortium, the Ohio Municipal League and others to promote regional cooperation.
