1. What are your qualifications for office? (50 word limit)
|
Answer from Julie Stautberg:
I have been serving as a judge of the Hamilton County Municipal Court since January 2004. My prior legal experience includes extensive trial practice as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Hamilton County, which involved the handling of serious cases in Juvenile, Municipal, and Common Pleas courts.
2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)
|
Answer from Julie Stautberg:
Serving the citizens of Hamilton County, as an assistant prosecutor, director of elections, and now as a judge, is a responsibility I value. I will continue to treat all participants in the court with respect and dignity. Every day in court is an opportunity to positively influence our community. I will continue to preside over the Mental Health docket, holding persons responsible for their actions, but also working to address underlying mental health issues.
3. What specific changes would you like to see in the administration of justice in Hamilton County? (150 word limit)
