Roberto Martinez believes strongly in democracy, and American political ideals and philosophies. He feels a democracy that doesn't practices democracy, by holding elections and having its citizens involved in its governments political practices, isn't a democracy at all, but rather a unofficial dictatorship. He knows that leaders often make mistakes as they are only human, and can't satisfy every one. However he doesn't feel that being human is an excuse for elected leaders in having to face political pressure of being reelected. His philosophy is that political pressure from concerned citizen's either protesting, or better running for office is what America's fudemetals are built upon. He feels that by one being involved in ones government, and the electoral process it ultimately displays America's ideas of a healthy democracy, and exemplifies to the world of what a true democracy is all about,
