Michelle Giddens is a native of California. Giddens spent her school years in Texas and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Business Administration. Giddens became President of the American Marketing Association in Austin before returning to California in the 90's.

Michelle Giddens has 20 years of professional business experience and has managed and trained thousands of employees. Giddens started her own air/water and laundry purification business in 1995 and managed a multi million dollar national advertising campaign until the birth of her son, Cody in December 2003.

Giddens became President of the CityWide Homeowners in Santa Barbara (approx.1000 members) and fought to preserve the property right of families on small lots in Santa Barbara. Giddens' professional leadership experience and problem solving skills makes her an excellent candidate for Santa Barbara City Council.
