Long time community volunteer with commitment, experience, and a collaborative approach are all key to a Board member's ability to hit-the-ground running. I bring all these qualities along with a passion for education that will serve the District well.

While raising four children in Mill Valley, my family has enjoyed 29 cumulative years in the Mill Valley School District from Pre-K programs through Mill Valley Middle School. I have seen the Mill Valley schools weather many changes and challenges. I am determined, with your support, to see our schools continue to flourish in the face of the fiscal, environmental and social challenges that confront our school community today. As a Trustee of the Mill Valley School Board, I will work hard to:

• ensure that each student is intellectually challenged at her/his appropriate level and rate of learning;
• support the hiring, development and retention of the best teachers and staff possible;
• encourage and facilitate effective communication both within the schools and with the community at-large;
• provide safe and inviting schools;
• manage existing resources responsibly and identify and pursue new opportunities and partnerships for the district and community's benefit.
