This election offers you the opportunity to make a difference and help move the city forward. The City Clerk position requires a high level of administrative and management skills to keep the city running efficiently for all citizens. My background with seventeen years of management and new technology systems experience will serve the city well. With my energy and innovative thinking I will develop better ways to do business and enhance the City Clerk's office immensely.

Running for the San Rafael City Clerk position is not new to me. I've been pursuing this position for the past eight years and continue to have a passion to serve our city and feel I have much to offer. I will attain my certification as soon as possible, once I'm elected to the City Clerk position.

As a twenty-four year resident living in the Gerstle Park neighborhood I have demonstrated my commitment to this community through my consistent involvement in neighborhood projects and government. While serving as President for the Gerstle Park Neighborhood Association, our committees worked closely with city officials to ensure the Neighborhood Plan, Ordinance updates and the General Plan were all consistent. As a member of the Downtown Plan Steering committee for seven years, I worked diligently toward the City's vision of what San Rafael has become today.

Raising my four children in San Rafael has truly been a blessing. My children's accomplishments tell a lot about the person I am: Christopher, graduated 20th in his class from the US Naval Academy (2005), earned a double masters degree from Cal Berkeley (2007), and is currently commissioned with the US Navy in Pearl Harbor as a law officer; Giorgio earned an Economics degree from UCLA (2007); Alessandra graduates April 2008 from the University of Michigan in the Navy Nursing program and Francesca graduates in April 2009 from the University of Michigan.

As a board member and coach for many youth sports teams I was able to work with children from all areas of San Rafael. Organizations include: Central Marin Soccer Registrar (16 years + database and record keeping with the State of California), Marin Swim League, San Rafael Little League, Softball League, CYO basketball and volleyball.

When you elect me to the position of City Clerk you will elect a high energy candidate who has chosen to serve the San Rafael community for the past twenty four years. I am a true visionary and will bring many new ideas and technological skills to this position. When you elect me, I will keep the support staff currently in place and will have an operational City Clerk from day one; this will save San Rafael time and money. Let's continue the good work and vote Sandy Lollini for City Clerk.
