Choose for The Children

As a govening board member, I pledge to be responsive to the need to re-think, establish and maintain a long term vision and organizational structure that demonstrates progress toward educational goals and provide ample support that empowers students, professional staff and parents to keep learning and achievement for all students as the primary focus.

I am a strong supporter and advocate for children and public education. I believe in an educational vision that ensures and enforces equity as it relates to providing the best quality of instructional practices for all students. The whole child must be educated and learning needs must be the center of every educational program and resource decision. Learning environments must be safe and conditions must enable all children to develop and realize their fullest potential. Today's children must be educated in such a way, more than ever before, as to enable them to function and particpate intelligently in the political, social and economic progress of our country.
