Neighborhood Problems Because of Pier PlazaBy Jeff DuclosCandidate for Councilmember; City of Hermosa Beach | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
We need a coalition of business, resident, council and public safety leaders, including our Fire Department, working the problem.Hermosa Beach has a responsibility to be a good host to the many people who visit our City. Conversely, these people have a responsibility to be good guests. That problems occur in our neighborhoods because of licenced liquor establishments is beyond debate. Councilman Reviczky, Police Chief Savelli, and the recently formed Restaurant Association's efforts to address this and other problems represent an important first step. But we need a much more inclusive and aggressive approach. We need a coalition of business, resident, council and public safety leaders, including our Fire Department, working the problem. I pledge to be a strong advocate for such change. |
