Gene Masuda will fight the new strip club.The court hearing to open our district second strip club is Election Day, March 6. The city failed us by not improving our adult business ordinances for at least seven years. They actually told previous courts that the Old Shakey's site was open to be used as an adult business. Only after one opens did the city start fighting the strip club. Their inaction will cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees and the strip club still might win! As a councilman, Gene Masuda will ask for an annual review of these laws and recent court decision. The council should be proactive, not reactive. |
