BALLOT STATEMENT Born and raised in the Southland I have chosen to make Redondo Beach my home since 1984. Together with my wife Debra we have raised 3 children. Retired as an Engineer I have taught in the Redondo Beach School District for the last 6 years. For 10 years I have served on the AYSO Region 17 Board and am presently the Treasurer. I am a member of the Measure E Bond Oversight Committee as well as a PTSA Board Member and local Boy Scout Troop Leader. Previously I served as President of the Redondo Beach Jaycees. For over 20 years I have volunteered in community organizations and have demonstrated both my leadership abilities and my commitment to making Redondo Beach a better place to live. Having served on 4 different Commissions for the City of Redondo Beach, I presently serve on the Planning Commission. This has given me the experience necessary to be an effective representative, as well as an understanding of the issues that face our Community.
