Vision and Leadership for Covina

By Peggy A. Delach

Candidate for Council Member; City of Covina

This information is provided by the candidate
Maintain and improve on safety and fire services, seniors and youth programs, revitalize Downtown Covina now and in the future.
My family's roots have been in Covina since 1977. Our daughter attends Covina Valley Schools. As a working parent and homeowner I understand the financial issues our community faces.

All of us like to live in a small town where everyone works toward common goals. Nice parks, good streets, strong police, effective fire prevention, careful spending, and a decent library. I support the maintenance and improvement of these programs as well as improving senior programs and youth activities.

I believe Covina's future is dependent upon forging close relationships between city government, business, schools, and the community. I will focus my energies towards establishing long-term development goals to ensure our future as a successful community.

My 27 years managing renovation and earthquake safety projects has proven to provide me with the qualifications necessary to work towards this goal. We continue to build teamwork within our government body, and we are working to to challenge Sacramento to keep your tax dollars closer to home.

With the backing of past police chiefs, chamber presidents, school board oficials, and your support, I will continue to strive to improve Covina's quality of life now and in the future.
