David Cain, born 1960 in Hollywood CA growing up in the San Fernando Valley, moving to the foothills community of Sunland-Tujunga in 1972.

After High school joining the US Coast Guard and serving 6+ years as law enforcement and search & rescue, moved back to Sunland-Tujunga. Establishing a Electrical contracting/service company working throughout LA and Ventura counties. Deciding to further my education, enrolled at Valley Community college and pursued basic education courses. After two years the strain of running a business and school took its toll and I returned to full time work using my evenings and weekends to study engineering and history at my own pace.

In the last 15 or so years I have put my hands to a few different businesses, some did well others didn't. For the last seven years I have been keeping bees, selling raw honey and recently started making a line of skin and hair care products from honey and organic Aloe vera.

I have always donated my time to my community to make life better, mentoring high school students or sandbagging for floods, whatever the job at hand needed.
