2. How will you ensure that election administration in Ohio is fair, honest, and impartial? How are you going to ensure that all eligible voters who want to vote in Ohio can vote? (150 word limit)
Inclusion at all levels of the process is vital to fairness and the broad representation needed for impartiality. I would consider county board appointments regardless of party affiliation. All election records, data and software source codes used in electronic voting equipment must be available for examination by the public at all times with appointments to the board of election machine examiners made to best identify verifiable and transparent systems including hand-counted paper ballots. I would reaffirm that a vote cast anywhere within a county by a qualified voter of that county must be recognized a valid vote and institute a massive voter registration effort to allow every qualified Ohio citizen the opportunity to comply with all registration requirements. I would insure access to voting resources including the number of voting devices provided and under no circumstances shall a voter be refused a provisional ballot on Election Day.
