2. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)
- Lifelong Westside resident
- Graduate of Elder High School and the University of Cincinnati.
- Candidate for Delhi Township Trustee
- Board member, Westwood Civic Association
- Keen understanding of the issues facing Westside residents
3. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)
- Never vote for a tax increase whether it is a property tax or a gas tax.
- Set up an expert task force to re-examine the State's role in inmate housing and work to strengthen the penalties for repeat violent offenders, and crimes involving guns.
- The state has ignored the distribution of section 8 housing vouchers. The number of housing voucher recipients has increased significantly on the Westside. This program needs restructuring.
5. Ohio has the highest foreclosure rate in the nation. What actions would you support at the state level to address this crisis? (150 word limit)
This is directly correlated with the fact that Ohio is the third highest taxed state in the country. We need to make certain that in Ohio doing business, living, working, and owning a home is as easy and affordable as possible. Ohio needs to be friendly to current and potential homeowners.
