1. How will you ensure that election administration in Ohio is fair, honest, and impartial? How are you going to ensure that all eligible voters who want to vote in Ohio can vote? (150 word limit)
My three-part plan includes (1) verifiable and audited election results, (2) restoration of trust in Ohio's election process, and (3) leadership that upholds Ohioans' values. I bring unrivalled experience to this position as an election law attorney for 13 years, a common pleas court judge, a deputy director to former Ohio Secretary of State Sherrod Brown, handling legislation for that office and for the 88 county boards of elections, and serving as a member of the Franklin County Board of Elections.I have dedicated most of my professional life to protecting and improving ways for people to participate in their government. In addition to running a private elections law practice for 13 years, I bring experience as a former Franklin County Board of Elections member, Franklin County Common Pleas Court Judge, and Deputy Director and Legislative Counsel for former Ohio Secretary of State Sherrod Brown.
