I am running for Governor to build the California of our dreams - a California for the many, and not the few, which lifts the burden off of hard working families and ensures that the next generation, our children and grandchildren, can have more opportunity, not less.

The centerpiece of my campaign, "Renewing the Promise of California", features a middle class tax cut to help families meet the rising costs of living and provide more opportunities for California's children. My plan includes investments in education, infrastructure and renewable energy; expanded lending and lower taxes for small businesses, and $788 million of tax relief for hard working middle class families earning less than $100,000 a year.
