These words are not "political philosophy"--these are words of a parent who cares about Stockton Unified School District. Having two children in SUSD, I see and feel the changes being made at the school level and at the classroom level. I want to build on the district's positives. These are exciting times for SUSD. We are in the midst of huge, unprecedented changes. We have to get it right! I want to contribute to that for my children, for all children.

I envision increased programming of schools that offer "magnet" philosophies to vocational education. Increasing choices for parents is essential for all children in SUSD to succeed.

I see schools with creative art and music programs for children from elementary to high school.

Yes, the task seems daunting, but with little steps, hard work and collaboration we can make it happen.

Please join me in making SUSD schools successful for ALL children!
