Tracy has Measure A as Law
The City Council of Tracy has recently (August 2006) adopted the 20 year general Plan for Tracy which fully integrates the growth rates of Measure A. This rate is law for at least ther 20 year period. That rate leads us to allow for approximately 109,000 population in the 20 year period, not the misleading 221,00 amount that is being rumored.
As such Tracy has adopted a moderate growth rate and is in full compliance with the Measure. I will work to protect Measure A from erosion in any way; to delete from it or add to it.
It is time fro Tracy to heal about the issue of growth and move on to other issues such as police, jobs, the commute and many other issues. I will continue to work to improve our City in all of these areas.
