Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Patricia Glock-Mc Killip

Candidate for
Trustee; Manteca Unified School District; Trustee Area 5

This information is provided by the candidate

I will continue to bring my education and experience as a parent, teacher, and administrator to the position. Learning and achievement for all student is my primary focus as a trustee. I will continue to recognize and respect differences of perspective and style on the board and among staff, students, parents, and the community.

As a board trustee, I will continue to ensure opportunities for the diverse range of views in the community to inform my board decisions. I will ensure that a safe and appropriate educational environment is provided to all students.

I support adopting a fiscally responsible budget based on the district's vision and goals, and will regularly monitor the fiscal health of the district. As a board trustsee, I will continue to support a framework for the district's collective bargaining process and support adopting responsible agreements. I believe that authority rests with the board as a whole and not as individuals; operating openly, with trust and integrity to continue to support the district's vision and goals.
