Candidate for
Board Member; Ramona Unified School District

Hello, my name is Rodger Dohm I am a candidate for the Ramona School Board. I am married with 4 children (Ages, 6, 4, 3, 2) and one due in October. My son goes to James Dukes Elementary and my daughter goes to Ramona Elementary. I have lived in Ramona now for four years; enough to know that RUSD is in need of a new direction and I believe that my qualifications and experience can be of value to the Ramona community.

I have the understanding and insight as a teacher since I currently am a teacher at Poway High School with ten years of experience. I have taught math, fine art, science and the vocational arts and support them strongly. I hold a BA in Math and Art Education from Brigham Young University and a MA in Education Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University.

I also volunteer in the community as a sunday school teacher, and help out at James Dukes Elementary and Sun Valley Charter High School.

As one that has integrity, I pledge to support Ramona students in their learning; whatever it takes!
