Tania Bowman is 59 years old. She attended San Diego State and Thomas Jefferson Law School. She worked for the Legal Services in San Diego from 1978 to 1997 advocating on behalf of women and children. From 1998, she joined the Youth Law Center in San Francisco until 2004. While there she was part of the Child Welfare System Redesign in Sacramento. From 2004 to the present, she has served as the Legal Director of the Rose House, an organization dedicated to assist relative caregivers of children in out-of-home care.
Tania presents seminars throughout California on the issues of Foster Care, government benefits and custody related issues.
Tania is married to a high school teacher. They have two children, a son who is an assistant professor and a daughter attending college. She has been a resident of Escondido since 1987 and her daughter attended and graduated from Escondido High School.
