Students should be engaged and connected through a creative and challenging curriculum. I am a product of our local schools, taught in the district for 15 years, and am currently a business owner in Santa Cruz County. I believe that public education is the cornerstone of our community. My focus is providing a strong educational experience for all students, whether planning on attending college or seeking a trade or vocation. The Aptos area schools must have strong representation at the district level, and I will be that voice. I understand the different challenges across our district, and truly believe that we must address the educational needs of all students equally. I want to bring integrity and honesty back to the PVUSD through open communication and teamwork. I am dedicated to adhering to the California School Boards Association's standards of governance. Building strong relationships with the board, educational and business communities will ensure that we attract strong leadership as well as attract and retain the best teachers.
