Questions & Answers

1. What experience related to city government would you bring to the City Council?

I have served as a volunteer City Commissioner for 12 years. Five years on the Historical & Landmarks Commission and 7 years on the Planning Commission.

2. What concerns are of particular importance to the city and how would you address them?

I am opposed to Measure B (Binding Arbitration). The control of the budget needs to stay in the hands of the city council who directly answer to the residents.

I am unhappy with the "Koreatown" proposal. City funds should not be used to promote one type of business. The El Camino Business district should be inclusive to all good businesses.

3. How would you balance the needs of the City as a whole with groups' interests?

Public policy is a balancing act. Everyone's interests need to be considered. I have a seven year track record of voting decisions. I try to listen and find the best solutions.
