Candidate for
Board Member; Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District

For the past eight years, I have had the privilege of serving the Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District as a board member. During my tenure, I have worked tirelessly to ensure transparency in the administration of district policies and matters, fiscal responsibilities and providing the best learning environment for all students.

As a resident of Saratoga for 22 years, I have been involved with many school and community organizations. From these experiences, I have developed a broad and long term perspective on our community and the needs of our district. Both our sons graduated from SHS. I am a CPA/MBA and work part time as a business consultant.

I have earned numerous awards as listed below:

1. 2006 Saratoga High School PTSA Golden Oak Service Award, highest PTA award for long-term service to school community.
2. Commendation of Saratoga City Council, Novemeber 16, 2005.
3. 2002 Redwood PTA Continuning Service Award, for recognition of outstanding service to children and youth.
4. 2002 BSA Polaris Star Award, for outstanding leadership as troop committee chair of Troop 508.
5. 2003 Santa Clara County Supervisor Asian American Hero Award.
