Candidate for
Director; Rubidoux Community Services District

As a long time resident of the Riverside area, I have been able to enjoy being part of its growth to becoming a major economic area. Helping to save the Santa Ana River, beginning in the sixties, and working to protect the quality of the water in the seventies prepared Riverside to be able to handle the intense growth that was to follow.

My eight years of service as a Director on the Rubidoux Community Services District continues that long interest in water, its supply and quality that began with a League of Women study years ago.

The Rubidoux District is well managed, directed by policies that have been set by many previous Boards of Directors looking to the future so that the water source it has is handled wisely. The District is responsible for a generous independent supply of clean, safe local water for the present and future use of its citizens

I have enjoyed being part of the Board responsibility, serving as President this year, for water supply and disposal, fire, trssh pickup, and lighting, A grand opening of the new Fire Station will be happening soon, with a new engine on order. Growth is being planned for, it certainly is coming, the District will be ready for it.
