Good Day Voters! Carol and I have lived in Murrieta since 1992 (14.5 yrs.) and our marriage of 31 years has blessed us with two sons aged 29, 27 and just recently a grandson. Both sons attended the local public schools(lettering in varsity football and cross country) and the eldest completed his degree in the liberal arts at UC Riverside. Our grandson: Vincent Nicholas Landriscina-just 3 months old at the time of this writing, resides here in Murrieta at the Reserves on Juniper Street. His parents (Joseph & Adrianna) have told us Vincent will attend Murrieta schools. Carol (my wife), is a supervisor with the U.S.P.S. and I am a consultant-home based. We are very proud of our city and plan to remain here permanently. We firmly believe that once Murrieta is fully re-developed, it'll be one of the finest cities in Southern California.

Work Experience: The Ford Motor Company(Environmental); The Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts(Energy Recovery-Public Agency Engineering Firm); LTR:Landriscina Technical Research, a Murrieta based consultancy since 1998 and nominee for Home-Based business of the year award by the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce in 2003:consulting on Internationl Trade/Marketing and Sales with emphasis on custom built-to-order environmental specialty machines for the following industries:pharmaceutical & biotechnology, electronics, automotive, US Military, printing, and chemical manufacturers, just to name a few. Add an additional three years of the above while a contract employee for the Murrieta based: SRS Engineering Corp, where we won awards for exporting our products abroad; George S. May International Company-B2B consultants; Professional Tutors of America: Assisting children (K-12)in the "No Child Left Behind Act," in the language arts and mathematics; NRG Energy, LLC-based in Princeton, NJ., which have facilities in Carlsbad, CA. providing energy to the California ISO.

Vounteer efforts:
-The Murrieta Valley Unified School District Board of Education, on September 29th 2006 approved my application to be on the Measure E oversight committee, with our first meeting scheduled for October 30th 2006.
-Taught introduction to computers at the Murrieta Senior Center
-Participated in the Veteran's day parade and city clean up.
-I once held a court appointed position with CASA-new to the Murrieta area in 2003-yet provides for over 2,800+ children in the county of Riverside who through no fault of their own have been taken from their families and placed in child protection services or have been placed in foster homes and or institutional homes. As a volunteer, my primary responsibility was to advocate in court on behalf of the children's foster parent care status, academic and healthcare needs to name a few.

The SSRC was my direct involvement with the "Save Southwest Riverside County" a local organization which defeated the Valley Rainbow Interconnect Transmission Lines Project. I went door to door to get signatures for letters to the public utility commissioners and wrote numerous letters in support of the campaign to stop SDG&E from building the towers in our valley. The letters were sent to the five commissioners and the then Governor-Gray Davis. I have also had discussions with administrative staff at both the city's of Murrieta and Temecula on energy related issues: Murrieta: solar power lighting and generation for public parking lots, and K-12 school facilities energy conservation-which eventually became part of the cities goals and objectives, then, offering the services of my consultancy for the "Temecula Municipal Power Agency." Both meetings took place in the same year.

I've been involved in the city's goal setting sessions which now offer town hall meetings at various locations throughout the city for residents to participate in. You can find out when the next meeting will take place by watching for "City Scenes," a quarterly newsgram the city mails out, or by visiting the city's web site home page: http://www.murrieta.org. I also receive the minutes of the meetings for city council, committees and commissions via email, to stay directly informed and involved in the current goings on. This includes knowledge of the General Plan, Municipal code, Murrieta's Redevlopment Agency and the Historic Downtown Specific Plan which includes information on the Historic Murrieta Association.
