Education and Qualifications:
As your Mayor in 2005 and Councilman since 2002, I have been honored to serve our unique community. Prior to my election, I chaired both our Park and Recreation Commission and our Citizens Advisory Review Board for Police Matters while maintaining my private practice as a psychotherapist and mediator. I have also been an administrator in Marin County government for 25 years.

This is the background and experience that I bring to resolve our immediate challenges. In addition to building our long-overdue Public Safety Facilities, it is critical to maintain fiscal stability and restore deteriorating infrastructure. We need to meet mandates for affordable housing plus create a community that attracts and keeps young families. Though we are providing leadership on sustainability and reusable energy, more efforts are needed and, most importantly, we need to preserve our small town character while protecting the historical quality of both our residential and waterfront areas.

Sausalito's diversity is central to who we are as a community and worth protecting. All lifestyles and points of view need to be heard and respected in the decision making process. My record speaks to these values. I ask for your vote to help me complete these goals.
